Kenny and Catherine met in 2000 while working in camp ministry together. They married in 2002, and have three precious children, Maizie, Lucy, and Matthew. Through their adoption of Matthew, their hearts were broken, and their eyes were opened to the orphan crisis in the world. They felt a direct calling form God to serve the most vulnerable in the world, trafficked children. They are passionate about fighting child trafficking and bringing justice to these children. They believe that true healing comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ, and are thankful to be given the opportunity to be a part of the ZOE team.
Kenny received his AA in Liberal Studies from Cabrillo College. He has spent the last 10 years in local government within Santa Cruz County, where he worked in public relations. He has served in various capacities, working directly with local law enforcement, social services, adult and children protective services, and medical personnel. Catherine received her BA in Liberal Studies from CSU Chico, and her teaching credential from CSU, San Marcos. She taught elementary school until the birth of their first child. Since then she has been at home with their children, and substitute teaching and tutoring on the side. They’re so excited to be back in full-time ministry together.
