Rob and Denise have both been actively involved in Christian lay ministry throughout most of their lives. As a married couple with children, they have always sought out ways to serve God together as a family. Having a heart for missions, Rob and Denise felt called in 2008 to join ZOE in their fight against child trafficking upon hearing the plight of countless children currently in harm’s way. They are so thankful to be teamed up with the ZOE missionaries and staff in Thailand alongside their four children: Lauren, Kelly, Stephanie, and Cori Anne.
Rob graduated with a BSE degree in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University. He worked professionally in the aerospace industry in Southern California for more than 20 years, most recently with Boeing, before being called into full-time ministry with ZOE. At ZOE, Rob serves as Senior Manager of Child Rescue. In this role, he oversees the day-to-day operations of the Child Rescue team including casework, training and mentoring, security, and strategic planning.
Denise graduated with a degree in Child Development at Cal State University, Northridge. After a brief career in elementary school teaching, she was ultimately called home to be a full-time mom. She spent nine years homeschooling their four children, training them up in God’s character and in His Word before moving to Thailand to become part of the ZOE team. At ZOE, Denise is a key trainer/teacher/mentor for the ZOE house parents in our distinctive aftercare model. She is tirelessly involved in ministries that she is passionate about which include teaching Godly character, parenting skills, building relationships, and pouring into ZOE’s youth group.
